Spirulina is seaweed, used as, basically, a green food supplement.
What will help is Acidophilus. Acidophilus is a naturally occurring yeast-fighter in your GI tract. If it becomes depleted, then yeast, or candida, can overrun your GI tract. Acidophilus supplements should be purchased only from a refrigerated source, and kept in the refrigerator – taken as directed. “Live-culture” yogurt is also a very good help for intestinal candida. (read the label of the yogurt) Anytime you take an antibiotic for an infection, it is wise to have “live culture” yogurt or acidophilus daily, to avoid yeast infections.
