Doctors don’t recommend colon cleansing for better health or to prevent disease. The only appropriate use for colon cleansing is in preparation for a medical examination of the colon.

Your colon normally eliminates waste material and bacteria and absorbs water and sodium to maintain your body’s fluid and electrolyte balance. Some colon-cleansing programs disrupt this balance and can be harmful by causing dehydration and salt depletion.

    Plus, it’s not fun.

No. Not a good idea. No proven benefit, despite what the colon cleanser sellers would have you believe.

you’re supposed to get a colonoscopy every 10 years after you turn 40, and i dout you’re over 40 so dont worry about it! but when you do turn 40, then do it because thats how the doctors check to see if you have cancer! :)

yes – but like all things you need to be sensible. Good diet (lots of fruit & veg) and an occasional “plugs points & oil change” is the best way. Try a product called “colon clean” it`s available at most health food shops.
P.S. don`t do it after a hot curry – ha ha – good luck
